Our Holiday in Sri Lanka

We had a holiday in Sri Lanka. It was so hot. But we really enjoyed it. I also got to go on a tuk-tuk. Here are some pictures.

The journey.

We arrived at Heathrow airport.

We went via Abu Dhabi. I was tired it was reaching bed time.

There was very little time before our next flight.

Next flight to Colombo

We are waiting to pick up the luggage from Colombo Airport. My dad accidently took someone else’s luggage. We only noticed that half way to the hotel. So my dad had to go back to the airport and get ours back.

We stayed at the Shangri-La in Colombo. I liked their pool.

My mom and me had a spa day.

We went to a place call Negambo. The sea was really rough.

We went to see a turtle hatchery. They rescue the eggs, hatch them and put the baby turtles in a tank. Then they release it to the sea. They also rescue turtles. Some of them get caught in fishermans nets.

We also went to see a cinamon plantation. They also produce cinamon oil by pressing the leaves of the cinamon tree.

I coloured my nails.

This is just a dress I like.

We went to a restaurant where they make the hopers in front of your table.

Me and my brother were hungry one evening so we had a late night snack.
